Welcome to the Cal Safety CPR and First Aid Training website.Our EMT's have been teaching California CPR and First-Aid classes for over 20 years and we are all ways updating our material to keep up with all changes in basic emergency care.Our CPR and First Aid classes are taught by experienced Emergency Professionals in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

We can come to your home and do the training. Our courses covers Adult, Child, Infant CPR and First Aid. This class is good for Care Workers, Babysitters, Nannies or for anyone else who wants to be trained in the comfort of their home..

Approximately 95 percent of sudden cardiac arrest victims die before reaching the hospital.
Death from sudden cardiac arrest is not inevitable. If more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved.
If bystander CPR is not provided, a sudden cardiac arrest victim’s chances of survival fall 7 percent to 10 percent for every minute of delay until defibrillation. Few attempts at resuscitation are successful if CPR and defibrillation are not provided within minutes of collapse.

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is an emergency procedure to save someone from cardiac arrest with rescue breathing and chest compressions. Certification in CPR has been required by many professions for a long time. Sports safety training involves the ability to recognize injuries or the potential for injury, the type of training that is appropriate, and treatment of sport's related aliments.Our EMT's at the Cal Safety not only train coaches and their staff in CPR and First Aid but they also add further instruction in Sports related injuries.

How many people in California have a CPR Certification?
With the best of our knowledge Cal Safety, the American Heart Association and others have only about 2% of adults are CPR certified in California. Over 13% of people in California smoke cigarettes. What's wrong with this picture? Something as serious as saving a life should be taken more serious don't you think? Over 1 billion people smoke cigarettes and maybe only 1/5,000 percent are CPR certified in the entire World.We teach our students about things that happen thousands of years ago,but we don't require anything upon graduation in life saving skills that 99.9% of them would use at sometime in their lives! Lets get this started right here in California and CPR Certify all children by the age of 14 and set an example for the rest of America and maybe even the World!
